Hirshabelleh President names new cabinet

The President of Hirshabelleh State, Mohamed Abdi Warreh, has announced the nomination of  a 57-menmber council of ministers.

Among the cabinet are personalities who previously held responsibilities in former government.  The new cabinet comprises of 20 ministers, 20 vice-minister and 17 ministers of state.

Ismail Mohamed Ulusow who was appointed as the state minister for posts and Telecommunications has announced his resignation immediately after the release of the names saying that he was not consulted on the appointment.

President Awarreh was elected on September 16, 2017 after the former President of Hirshabelleh, Ali Abdullaahi Osoble, was sucked by no-confidence motion.
